Do what you love, and it won’t feel like a job. I love running these radio stations. I’ve met lots of interesting people, both artists and listeners. I’ve heard tons of wonderful music. It’s fun. And while the stations do technically make a profit each year, I unfortunately can’t live off of that profit. I’m making plans for 2011 to have several non-Christmas stations. Hopefully that will allow some income to be spread more around the entire year instead of only November and December. But if I’m doing the radio station year-round, I wonder if it will seem more like a job?
