George Frideric Handel wrote Messiah in 1741. The most recognizable part of the oratorio is “The Hallelujah Chorus.” Here it is “sung” by “monks” who have taken a vow of silence. Enjoy!
WOW!!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!! The best presentation EVER!
Clever, impeccably performed–and the beauty and power of Handel’s masterpiece still holds us in thrall. I play it over and over! Who are these Monks?
This was awesome. Are these monks truly never allowed to speak?
