I upgraded the Traditional Christmas music station to 128kbps a week ago. I was worried about how that would impact the listenership. Other than a few minor hiccups with a few tracks that were corrupted, it seems that you listeners love the station. Last year at this time, the traditional station was ranked at around #400. As of today, we are ranked at #226.
I’ll finish upgrading the Instrumental station over the next few days, and plan to activate it’s higher quality this weekend.
Also, this weekend, I’ll be reactivating the other stations in the Christmas Music 24/7 network (Country, Contemporary Christian, and Kids). I’m not sure though if I’ll be able to upgrade them to the 128kbps broadcast rate.
