Jay Geisler – I Believe in Santa Claus

“I Believe in Santa Claus” is a fun song from Jay Geisler. I couldn’t find anywhere to buy it online. It’s on the Christmas Music 24/7 More station.

A few days ago I asked our eight year old niece if she believed in Santa Claus. She wasn’t quite sure how to respond. I think she wanted to believe. It reminds me of a quote from the movie The Santa Clause. “Seeing isn’t believing. Believing is seeing.”

Michael Devine – Christmas Country

I received a copy of Christmas Country by musician Michael Devine. It is a fast country song, almost like bluegrass. Michael plays a 5 string banjo. One amazing thing about Michael is he experinced a significant loss of hearing in one ear after surgery in 1995. He’ll be releasing four more tracks in early 2012.

This EP has three tracks, “Country Christmas” and two very different songs, a Trance Mix, and a Soul Club Mix. Give it a listen with iTunes or Amazon.

Bob Gline & Clare Mance – Feelings at Christmas

On the Christmas Music 24/7 Traditional station, I’m playing a CD from Bob Gline & Clare Mance Feelings at Christmas. They are backed by the BBC Radio Concert Orchestra, led by Grammy award nominee Pete Moore. The CD has an old-timey feel to it. Purchase it at iTunes.

Eric Troff – Bright Christmas Lights

I’ve added Eric Troff’s new song “Bright Christmas Lights” to the Christmas Music 24/7 More station. It’s a sweet little song using the imagery of the colors of Christmas lights for different aspects of the spirituality of the season. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be available for purchase anywhere online.

Thomas Raniszewski wrote and played, while Kathy Fowler sings, the song “Through a Child’s Eyes.” 100% of publisher royalties will be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. This song is in rotation on Christmas Music 24/7 Country.

May be purchased through iTunes or CDBaby or Amazon.

Joseph Akins – A Piano Christmas

I’ve added Joseph Akins’ beautiful piano album “A Piano Christmas” to Christmas Music 24/7 Jazz/Instrumental. Available for purchase from Amazon; iTunes and CDBaby.

Dr. Joseph Akins (warning – plays music automatically!) lives a dual life (a superhero? no :) ) as a piano artist and a college professor. “A Piano Christmas” is his fourth album.

Gary Chapman – This Gift

The album “This Gift” by Gary Chapman is now playing on Christmas Music 24/7 Country. It is available for purchase from Amazon and iTunes.

I actually worked backstage (“security” of all things! Yeah, I have a real intimidating presence!) at one of Gary’s concerts in the mid 90′s. I didn’t get to meet him or anything, but he passed by me when he entered the arena from the door I was guarding. :) I think it was the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Virginia.

Chek him out on MySpace or at his AHymnAWeek.com web site (warning – plays music automatically!).
